I have been looking around to try to find out about battery consumption for the new Dell Inspiron 1520 but since it only came out 3 days ago I have not been able to find anything on it. Figured I would post the specs here and see what kind of estimates you guys would guess I might get in terms of how long the battery will last while performing low level tasks such as working with Word or Excel.

I'm not sure which of the specs affect battery consumption so I'll just list the main stuff:
    -Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 (2.2GHz/800Mhz FSB/4MB cache)
-High Resolution, glossy widescreen 15.4 inch display (1680x1050)
    -2GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 at 667MHz
-256MB NVIDIA GeForce Go 8600M GT
    -160G 7200RPM SATA HDD

Any guesses on how long a 56Whr Lithium Ion Battery (6 cell) will last with those specs? If so, how much longer do you think the 85Whr Lithium Ion Battery (9 cell) will last?

Also, does anyone know if the 9 cell sticks out of the back of the Inspiron models?

    Thanks! :)
