Is there any 64 bit celeron M or sempron for laptop available in the market? I hope there is or will be, so the price will be cheaper compare to core 2 duo and turion 64X2.

There are no Celeron Ms that are 64-bit capable as of right now. AMD does have some Sempron models that are 64-bit capable, but are mainly found in desktops and not notebooks.

For Intel, NO. At least no any update news available.

For AMD, YES. You can get 64-bit Sempron Mobile with AM1 socket. It is 25W TDP. HP is selling Sempron in V or DV .

The HP dv2000z, dv6000z and the respective Compaq versions V3000z & V6000z. Acer also has the Aspire 3100 series which also has the socket S1 Semprons are 64bit capable. 64bit is the future, pretty soon every available processor will be 64bit enabled.

No. My prodiction is Sempron Mobile will replace the single core Turion 64 code name. Turion is the dedicate code name for X2.

The fastest Sempron is 3500+ at 1.8G with 512KB Cache 64 bit.
