Is there any noticable difference performance-wise between the two drives?
-
-
probably not. they're both blazing fast. HDTune says 250gb is a bit faster. Get the size you need since there isn't really a difference between them
-
I wasnt really worried about the size, just thinking about access times and whatnot.
-
-
if you don't want SSD as nirvana suggested and size doesn't bother you, go with 250gb
-
If you're worried about access/seek times, get the 160GB version.

lol we're going down the GB train.. so get the 64gb SSD
-
wait 'til the Intel X-25 hits the market... (128GB SSD.... SUPERFAST!!!) (the "slow" version... 75MB/s write, 250MB/s read. "fast" version to be released at a later date...)

You mean the E series? XD we're talking big money now
First thing I do is buy a high end SSD if I win the lottery
7200.3 250g vs 320g
