What would be better on a Lenovo T400 or T500? If i get the Turbo memory i would have a 160GB 7200RPM hard-drive. The Turbo memory is $50, and the hard-drive upgrade is $85.

Which one will have a noticeable increase in speed?

EDIT: Oh yeah, the laptop will have a P8700 processor and 3GB of ram on Vista Basic

I will run basic windows software (word etc.) lots of internet browsing (firefox), have linux dual boot installed (ubuntu), and light-medium gaming and light medium music/video.

I don't know much about Turbo Memory.

The 7200rpm drive can certainly speed things up. If you do it yourself you can save money.
