    7K320 worth $100 more than the 7K200?

    Performance will be better (7K320 [320GB] has Greater Data Density), Heat will be less --> Because it needs less power than the 7K200 [200GB]..!!

    Check out the datasheets and compare the Specs on Page 2 (It answers almost everything)....

    $100 is not worth it, you can settle for a slower drive for now and probably upgrade to the 7K320 or similar later, when the price falls down a bit....!!

    The 7K200 has lower acces times than the 7K320.

    The 7k320 reaches higher transferrates than the 7K200.

    In normal use the performance will be very similar.

    We've seen two user reports of vibration and noise with 7K320 so it may be better to avoid it.
