    No mSATA please.

    Intel 320 is out (8mb bug)

    What are my options ???

    Im thinking Crucial M4. Will the 7mm mod void it's warranty ?

    Everyone just answers "go intel 310" or "get intel 320"

    320 is bugged and I dont want mSATA!!!

    Anyone here modded the M4 to 7mm ??

    Just need to know if it will void the warranty.

    To go strictly by the book, any disassembly of the SSD's casing will void the warranty, but if there is no warranty tampering sticker, and you're careful enough not to strip the screws, they'll most likely won't give you a hard time on it.

    You have created many threads regarding this in the Lenovo subforum and here. Removing the spacer shouldn't void the warranty unless you screw it up and damage the SSD. Same policy should apply to Intel 2.5" SSDs.
