For the past few months, ive been running a 1066 FSB, and 1000mhz ram. the windows experience index rates the ram at 5.4. Today, I put in some 800mhz ram, and it rates it now at 4.4.

Is the difference REALLY noticeable for games?
If i reduce my FSB to match the ram, will my computer run smoother?
How high can ram typically be overclocked to (what could I overclock this ram to)?

When I google this info, theres alot of websites that talk about CAS timings (which i know are not as important as mhz) but not alot of answers for these three questions.

    Thanks guys!

WEI is generally a poor indicator of anything remotely useful. You will not see a noticeable difference between 1066MHz and 800MHz memory in almost all applications, nor will there be a noticeable difference with tighter memory timings. You will not see a noticeable difference in anything if you lower the FSB to match your memory speed. Don't know about the overclocking headroom on notebook memory, but it probably isn't all that much.

In general, more memory will be hugely, hugely more beneficial than memory with any fancy features.

You can test the memory bandwidth differences with software like sissandra, or pcmark.
AS commander wolf mentioned, WEI is a really bad benchmarking utility. The performance difference between 1066 and 800Mhz memory is very small. Plus the memory will automatically run at a different ratio to run with the FSB of the processor, so there is no need to match frequencies
