    Ok ive read all about this and I want this but there are 2 types of 8600 and the 8600 c does this make a difference when i order my 9600 for my 8500 ? all this sights say it will work. I just wanted to clearify if i needed to tell them i want it for a 8600c or a 8600 .it might not make a difference but I thought id ask before i spent the money blindly. Thanks for your replies

    my 8500 is a 2.4 ghz 512 setup with the big screen and the geforce 4 64mg with the heat mod. without heat mod I would get locked up in Halo like a bigdog

    the 8600 and 8600c have no difference in core components. You will be fine.

    * Inspiron 8600c * 1.8ghz Pentium M * 128 MB Radeon 9600 Pro Turbo * 2x512 MB DDR2700 SDRAM * 60GB 7200RPM HDD *
