    Hello,

I'm considering replacing my current XPS m1530 with another notebook in the following months. I am considering some business class notebooks with Quadro FX 380m and NVS 3100m. I would like to know how they compare with my current 8600m GT with 256MB DDR3 memory. I am considering either the IBM Thinkpads T410 or the HP Elitebook 8440 models. I don't run intensive games, just some linux games, but I like to run them at the native resolution of 1680x1050, with 4x AA and 16x AS at 60FPS, and my card allows me to do with games like UrbanTerror, Blood Frontier, Neverball, etc. Would the same be possible under those two other cards ?

    Thanks

The FX 380M and NVS 3100M are basically the same in terms of games and are limited by their 64-bit bus. I doubt they'd be any better than your 8600M GT (128-bit), but it probably won't be much worse as it is several generations improved.
