It rocks like hell: 9700 3DMARKS06, slightly overclocked
Crysis fine on 1440x900 @ all high
CPU: T7500 2.2 GHZ, 2 GB RAM
8800M GTX bought @ www.cyber-system.de
but atm only possible if u already own a cyber-system notebook,

-
How much FPS do you get when you're in close combat while shooting?? -
2-3 fps less than normal.
but i'll post pic asap. -
Is this single or SLI? If single, you happy bastard.
-
Did you buy a whole new laptop or just the 8800mGTX by it self??
Thx for the pics
You are a lucky man.... -
single gpu!
-
your so lucky
-
i already got one with 8700M GT and bought the 8800M GTX
-
-
May I ask what you had to pay for the 8800M GTX card?
-
A hoof and a talon I would imagine...
As for the OP I just like to say that I respect the fact that you bought the latest laptop video card but after looking at your fps in crysis one can't help but notice that gaming on 30 fps is noob... And it's with no actions going on, I would imagine if you have 10's of enemies running at you firing and making interactive explosions that destruct houses with realistic phisics at the same time your fps keeping all settings constant would probably drop down to 10 - 15 rendering the game barely playible but certainly not by any means a desirable experience... -
well, if u say so.
min. fps i got in combat is 25 fps
btw. @ Wu Jen: if u want to buy a 8800M GTX @ cyber-system.de, u have to own a original cyber-system notebook;
i know that they use the M57RU Barebone.

what are u expecting man??
not even a sli 8800 gtx gets 60 fps minimum !!!
just think about it, an then write a answer. -
could you tell us what settings you need to get 60+ fps? I'd like to know so that I can decide whether I should buy one or just stick with the 8600M GT

The real question IMO is how do I mod my 8800 GTS into a GTX. Other than the 32 fewer stream processors, there is no difference. That extra bit of muscle takes you from medium to high in crysis.
When I take my machine apart I'll have to look for laser cut traces.
8800M GTX available!
