Star Forge Quaggan's Creed Redux!
OEMs sell them like Dell, Lenovo or HP but they aren't cheap... Expect to pay $2,000 USD for one stick.

DIMMs, or SODIMMs? Basically, desktop, or notebook? If SODIMMs (notebook), there are a few sites listed in this thread, although I don't know that any of them are all that reputable. You won't be paying $2000, but it still won't be cheap (~$750 or more per stick).

Star Forge Quaggan's Creed Redux!
Hmmm... Looks like they dropped the price dramatically since last year.
-
Still ungodly expensive.

There are notbook sold with 4x8 RAM. You'll have to pay like 15k for one though lol
-
ouch.... way too high.
thanks for the heads up guys -
oh, i dunno - that memory4less site has 8G sticks for ~$600 each. While $2400 for 32G ain't exactly cheap, 8G steps towards that can be ok for most higher end budgets.
I'd like to get two of those sticks and max out a Lenovo W700 at 16G, but it's gonna be a short while before I can get the ca$h together for that. I might go w/one 8G stick and an existing 4G = 12G for a while. -
Currently DDR3 laptop memory has the maximum memory of 4GB per stick and DDR3 desktop memory (server memory ECC REG) would have the maximum memory of 16GB per stick now (~$600.00).

This is untrue... there are links above disproving what you've just said and many more in this forum.

Correct. I believe this is the site/url in question. ~$600 ain't too shabby at this stage in the game for 8G sticks.
8GB DDR3 Dimms?
