Newegg.com - CORSAIR 8GB 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 Laptop Memory Model CMSO8GX3M1A1333C9
I thought it was 199 just last week.
Anyone tried it yet?
-
It has one favorable review.
-
your point is?
-
Anyone going for 32GB?
-
Someone has tried it, and found it working.
-
I would need 16GB module to do that.
-
some laptops have 4 slots for memory...
-
Yes, but mine only has two. Anyway, 2x8GB to get a total of 16GB is still not bad. I am just wondering if they will consume more power than 4GB module, and will shorten the battery life.
-
Of course they will, but you won't be able to notice.
-
crucial has eight gig kits for 45 bucks.
-
tilleroftheearth Wisdom listens quietly...
stevae, I think we're talking about a single 8GB SoDimm not a 2x 4GB 'kit'.
-
16GB not bad? IMO, it's still considered overkill for any laptop ATM.
-
oooooooh my laptop has 4 sodimm slots.
-
Yeah, I think even the difference between 4GB and 8GB is not noticeable for the vast majority of laptop users.
-
I'm working on a texture pack for Skyrim and my 4096x4096 16bit files would heavily disagree.
-
You're clearly not part of the "vast majority of laptop users".
-
Only 94.99 now.
I will just wait, the price drops too fast. -
Hmm..tempting, but 12GB seems good enough for now. Usually only use 4GB on a daily basis anyway.
8GB DDR3 memory lowered to 139.99 on newegg.
