    9500t ram upgrade?

    hey guys, well i have a hp 9500t cto and im looking to upgrade to 4gb. just need to know if itll support pc2 6400. if not will it just default to a lower clock speed?

    The 9500t only supports up to PC5300, so yes, if you try to install PC6400 DIMMs, they'll downclock to the lower speed.

    It will default to pc2 5300 speeds. The Santa Rosa chipset does not support any faster.
