Magician decided to tell me the 960 evo has a firmware update but I can't get any more info. I am running 2B7QCXE7 at the moment, the Samsung site shows that as the latest but it seems to be behind from previous experience. When I press update it throws back an error "failed to update firmware on selected drive"
Anyone else getting this?

Its a false alert because Samsung list your current FW file as latest.

I agree as it has now decided I am up to date. Unless Samsung are getting ready to roll out an update in the next few weeks and got it a bit wrong.
Last time I updated it didn't show on the website for a couple of days after magician updated me.
They snuck out a 2.3 driver last week, I missed that until today.Vasudev likes this. -
On their website still shows older FW.

Yes, that is why the picture I put up shows the download page and my current firmware that magician updated

Possibly to ensure the drive makes it at least one day past warranty?
