How can you find out if your laptop has " N" in it ? It has to do with networking supposedly if your laptop has " N" you don't need a router with " N" in it !

Go to the device manager (depending on your OS, in XP, right click on 'My Computer' and click properties and go to device manager).
Under the Network adapters category, what type of WLAN card does it say? -
Oh, and you can find out whether you has Wifi N by checking which Wifi card you have. -
I'm going to check that out, I think it's a Intel LAN built in but I'm not sure. If it's a Intel are they reliable ? Hopefully I'm right so I just have to buy a router.
Sorry about the post, the reason why it was confusing was I was referring to a specific type as in N. I wasn't sure what it meant.
