Cheap is cheap for a reason.

If you value the footage/images you're shooting with your GoPro (or even more pertinent; if you're getting paid to shoot for others...) then I would only consider the Sandisk and Lexar pro lines.

Not saying you 'will' have any issues with this card - but there is much more chance of incompatibilities with these bottom rung products.

Some might suggest that if you were shooting for your own personal use, then that is worth taking a chance with a cheaper product.

I say (from experience) that my clients deserve the best I can buy (and charge them for...). But, my 'personal use' data is even more important to me than a paying client's (most of my client's shoots are 'staged' - at worse, I simply have to switch to my backup systems).

With my 'for personal use' shoots - they are usually a once in a lifetime events and if I dont get the shot(s) the first time, I'll never have them ever. That is why I don't trust cards like what you linked for clients, nor myself.

And yes, I have tested different cards over the years (I used to pay $2K+ for a 256MB Lexar...) but have always come back to the 'pro' stuff for a reason (reasons like card wouldn't let camera boot up, images 'disappearing', etc.).

    Good luck.

As a wise man once stated, you get what you paid for.

The only brand I pretty much buy for flash media is Sandisk. Yes you pay and arm and leg, but they really do last. I still have a 1 GB Sandisk USB drive from 6 years ago, paid 90 bucks for it back then.
