    Hi guys,

I've had this Sager 9260 for about two months, and love it.

However, the cord between the power brick and the computer seems very short- too short to even reach the floor when the notebook's resting on the edge of a table. I'd rather rest the hot psu on the floor, instead of up next to me on the desk..

Anyone know of any alternative solutions for this short cord? would it be possible to open the power supply and replace it with a longer one?

(The cord between the psu and the wall is long enough.. i'm just referring here to the one between the psu and the laptop.)

    thanks in advance!

Better to ask the manufacturer to see if they have one available. and don't open it up.

Good advice. I think with it's high power draw it might be intentional. Resistance and heat?

Put the brick on the table rather than on the floor.
