I need an extra ac adapter for my Dell E1505 but I have two questions:
1. The one that came with my computer says it is a PA 12, 65 watt ac adapter, but when I go to Dells website it says the one that works with my laptop is a 90 watt ac adapter, what gives?
2. Does anyone have an opinion of the replacement ac adapter's that are sold on Ebay, would they be as good as Dells? These are 65 watt.

Well the only one I can see that they sell after you bought the E1505 is the 90 watt (not a 65 watt), so there is no difference between the two?
So it is alright to buy a 65, 90, or 120 watt adapter as long as it says it works with a E1505? I'm looking to buy one cheaper than Dell sells them for without messing up my warranty.
The Kensington 120w you have, it works as a home and car adapter both? -

The E1505 can use both the 65- and 90-watt adapters. I would go with the 90-watt.
You can get spare AC adapters for your Dell on eBay for cheap. -

The adapters really are available for cheap on ebay. Be careful about the 'like new' auctions though if the rubber thing that wraps the cord when traveling is important to you.

Just been to ebay looking at new (not like new) ac adapters for my Dell and it seems to me the PA 12 adapters are all 65 watt and the PA 10 adapters are all 90 watt, can someone verify this? My original adapter is a PA 12 but according to your responses that doesn't seem to matter.
If you could buy the 120w ac/car Kensington adapter for the same price as a 90w Dell adapter on ebay would you buy it or stay with the Dell Adapter? -
zx10guy since the E1505 just takes either a 65w or 90w power supply does it just dial it down from your 120w Kensington?
I just did a compatible search at Kensington for my laptop and it did not list the E1505, does it just come with a tip that naturally works with it or do I need to make sure I get a certain tip?
