    I am totally ignorant about this, I have an ACER ASPIRE 3003LCi and wanted to know if its possible to overclock mobile cpu's? If it is can I do that with my laptop (it has an amd sempron 3000+ at 1.8 ghz if it makes any difference)

    Well, you can overclock it for sure - there are various programs out there to do that with. But I strongly recommend that you don't overclock, because a) you'll run into heat issues and b) doing so will void your warranty.

    It probably won't make a difference anyway, as that is one of the faster Semprons as it is.

    Yes, I agree with Chaz and also there aren't any programs which work with the SiS chipset.
