    Hey

Lately ive been expering problems with my lappy(specs is in sig), or rather, i had this same problem some time ago and now i see it again.

The problem is, when playing games demanding something, i get a BSOD saying hardware fault, something about partiel memory and some more, cant excatly remember. It dosent produce any minidump log. The only trace ive been able to find is a note in the windows log:

Source is intelppm, event-id: 2 and under description it says:

The Acpi 2.0 _PCT object returned an invalid value of 11

What ive found around the net, seems to point on a heating problem, tho last time it did the error, it was just turned on to show a technichan the problem, it was just finished loading windows, then entering the bioshock demo and starting and just after getting controle of the player, BSOD :(

Any idea on what it can be ? :S

Sorry. I've not met this before and I don't want to have a personal encounter.

Google isn't much help either. However, are you encountering this problem just with Bioshock? It seems to be causing a number of problems.

Have experienced it once before in Heroes of Might and Magic V, the problem is just, that it didnt occur before i had new memory installed, so i begin to suspect that its thoes, even tho they have been running fine in battlefield 2, where my comp before went crasy with artifacts because if running hot. That has tho been pretty much fixed with new drivers.

If it helps anything is the BSOD the same as people gets in this thread:

So ive narrowed the problem to be either overheating of the GPU or the new memory
