    first of all great thanks to bmnotpls ...!
    notice huge difference between Burst Rate in two SATA operation modes in VOSTRO 1500.
    benchmarked using HD Tune 2.55

    left : AHCI Mode
    right : ATA Mode

    Interesting. Is there any chance you can redo the AHCI one after the computer has been on for some time? It is also showing much higher CPU usage and other processes using the HDD (those downward spikes).
