Hi guys,
Can you help me with two questions? I have been researching on the web but there are few info available about that.
1. Which processor is faster/better: AMD A-6 4400M or A-6 3420M ? (considering CPU + GPU performance). I have heard that 4400M is a single core only simulating dual core, and its GPU has less quality and speed than 3420M. Is it true? If not, so what?
2. Some notebooks have two DDR 3 DIMMs: 4GB + 2 GB = total 6 GB. Is it possible to have dual channel in this condition?
Thanks a lot.

1. The A6 is a dual-core with similar processor performance to the the A4-3xxxm of the previous generation Llano, except it can't be overclocked like they could. The A6-3420m is a quad-core and can be overclocked fairly easily to 2.4GHz with no heat problems on most of the laptops that have it, making it about twice as powerful as the A6-4400m. This is because the Trinity A6 is actually meant to replace the Llano A4, the Trinity A8 is what replaces the Llano A6.
The A6-4400m does have better graphics, slightly. The 7520g of the A6-4400m is slightly above the 6520g of the A6-3420m but not quite on the level of the 6620g Llano.
2. Yes -
A6-3420m is better, imo, because of the reasons mentioned above.
