Is this processor any good. I will use it a bit for gaming but only for games like sims 2 base version and fifa manager 08 etc not for top graphic games.

The Video Card is weak I would not expect smooth game play. You need more RAM a minimum 2GB (some will say more). Windows Game Advisor says you are fine for the two you mention (FIFA 07 vs) but always a question w/IGP's.

Have you checked out Dell, their price is competitive and can get into a dedicated card and will definitely improve any game play.

The GPU could be much better, like a GeForce 7900 or 7950. also a 8400,8600,or 8800. But the CPU does still matter, just not as much as the GPU. the CPU is alright. I would say a AMD Turion 64-- Like a TL-50 or better. And a Core 2 Duo would be good. I am a fan of both AMD and Intel, so I wont roccromend 1 over the other. Hope I could Help.

The TK-53 is a lower-end dual core, roughly equivalent to a TL-52 Turion. The GeForce 7150 Go is integrated and uses system RAM, so if you are looking for a gaming laptop, I would look elsewhere. It should be able to play Sims 2 and similar games just fine though.
