Friends I need the AMD Radeon CCC "Overdrive" function badly. on my HP M6 with the A10 APU, I get the nemesis "Display Driver Stopped Responding" error which I could remedy via a Preset with altered clock values [on the low end, not the high end], however, that entire section of CCC is missing. Huh ? :(

How do I remedy this? best I can gather from reading many posts about this, the function is obfuscated via some sort of permissions matrix. Does AMD wish to defeat this on their own reference spec for laptops running their APU or the Hudson FCH??? what gives?

You can try the semi-modded desktop drivers from Laptopvideo2go.com, they may have a version with Overdrive enabled. If not, why don't you use MSI afterburner? It pretty much replicates the function of Overdrive except better.

I really would prefer to do it the right way. something is amiss if the full-function CCC will not load/display/function on their own reference spec :)

i'm simply stunned that nobody can answer the question as to whether THEIR OWN amd apu-based laptop's own CCC has those functions available..... though in other forums on other questions the answer is yes [and no... depending]

I did download and install AMD Overdrive and it works fine.
which again begs the question: why didn't it work fine in the integrated utility? My guess is that the function integrated within CCC is just a subset of the standalone tool [which is more robust, feature/function-wise]
