A PC which has certain components that enable it to be a media centric computer. I dont think it was intended to be used in laptops, so none of the laptops have that branding. It is more of a branding initiative equivalent to Intel ViiV.

But I saw it on an HSN laptop. Where they were controlling the desktop with a laptop.

It is a desktop technology, a competitor to Intel's Viiv.

It's actually a marketing scheme hatched by AMD in response to Intel's VIIV campaign. I don't remember the exact components, but I believe a PC needs Windows Media Center, a TV tuner, and an AMD processor to qualify for the AMD LIVE logo.

It's basically AMD's attempt to make a PC more like an easy to use Home Television. AMD Live is not a laptop technology/platform.

hmm...the user might have been wireless streaming music ro something from the laptop to the AMD Live desktop, so it probably appeared that the user was "controlling" the AMD desktop with the laptop.
