    AMD Radeon Pro WX4150 in DELL M4700/M6700 (LVDS) = only external screen!

    Hi you all,
    Just to clarify the situation. I tested wx4150 on both M6700 and M4700 (LVDS screen on both). Card works fine but only on external screen.
    As AMD Power Express (=ENDURO) cannot be enabled on those 2 laptops, unless you buy the (very) expensive EDP cable & EDP screen, AMD polaris will not work on internal screen.
    Unless you have a workaround, expect same situation with ALL Polaris cards (RX480...)

    Actually, as far as I know, eDP on this generation is limited to NVIDIA GPUs.
    Not completely sure about that (I don't pay that much attention to the AMD GPU side) but when the system was new, a NVIDIA GPU was required to use either the 3D display or the IPS display, both of which are eDP.

    Nvidia Pascal and AMD GCN 3.0 axed support for LVDS.
