Max is 95C (203F), make sure your Power Now is working, mine useally runs about 52C (126F) doing internet and yes it does go up to 82C under full load for long time.

Install CrystalCPUID to undervolt. You should be able to undervolt at the 8x muiltiplier (1.6ghz) down to a stable 0.900 volt or a conservative and very stable 0.925 volt. Just set your power scheme to max performance and change the 8x multiplier voltage(in the function menu). You can then create a desktop icon to undervolt to this setting in future just by double clicking the link.

Undervolting is very safe, the worst that can happen is that you have to reboot if you lower the voltages too much. Your processor will run about 10-15 degrees cooler when running at max if you lower to 0.900/0.925
