    Intel i7-2670QM. Intel still has the lead in their CPU performance over AMD.

    Yes GPU-wise, it uses are strong iGPU and has better Hybrid-CF support with another AMD dedicated card. However if you are already looking at a gaming laptop, that point is moot since the i7-2670QM will often be mated to a dedicated gaming card in the first place.

    True, but the OP just asked which is better, there was no indication of what the processors were being judged on so I just tried to give a good look at the situation.

    For specific comparison purposes, the same site lists the A8's iGPU at #127 against #209 for the i7's, but as Star Forge points out, if you're working with a dedicated GPU already the distinction isn't as important.
