I just purchased a Gateway MX7515 and have been tweaking it a little. I have installed the Omega driver for the ATI Radeon X600. That was a great improvement over the original. Now I was wondering if anyone has found a better driver for the AMD 64 mobile athlon? I searched around AMD's site and a few others but was wondering if anyone has found something I overlooked. I dont really care if it takes more power as I will not be using my machine outside my home very often.

What I am talking about is the Driver I found in add\remove programs. It is called the Athlon 64 processor driver. I am an average user and not real familiar with hardware. I found it simple to install the Omega drivers for the video card and thought I may be able to upgrade my processor driver as well. Thanks for your help. I will dig around AMD's site some.

AFAIK, there are no other drivers other than those found on AMD's website. Infact all K8 class AMD cpu's share the same drivers, so there is no difference which you install.

Thanks Miner, I am a AMD newbie and that answers my question perfectly!
