I been running Vista RC2 on my AMD Turion 64 X2. (PC in SIG)

It runs EXTREMLY smooth. I use it more than my XP Media.

No reason it shouldnt work well. For most general tasks you wont notice a difference between an AMD and a Intel. In 64bit aps AMD seems to have the edge over the Core2Duo's. In some benchmarks out there at least.

well i done the vista requirement thing and it said i can run vista premium so if you get a setup like mine in the sig or simular you probably wont have any problems with premium much less the lower versions of it.

No issues here. The TX2 TL-50 runs Vista as good as Win XP.

They will be mostly the same, but 64 bit will run better because AMD has a better 64 bit instruction set, AMD64 has proven to be better than Intel's EM64T.
