AOC is a fairly large supplier of LCD screens, for both laptops and desktops.

My brother has a very similar AOC 21.5" 1080p monitor. The only difference with this monitor as far as I know is cosmetics. Colors are okay, and at that pixel density text and images are crisp and clear. For ~$100-150 monitors, you'll find there is little/no difference whatsoever in quality (except in the rare circumstance when higher-end monitors are sold on sale in that range).

I have an Acer desktop monitor one of the cheaper ones and it SUUUUUCCCKKKS it has no viewing angle colors are ever so slightly inverted even sitting right in front of it and normal height. i have seen other higher cost acer desktop LCDs that seem just fine.

Hard to judge based on the specs; you have to see it in person. But like I said, there won't be much difference in monitors in this price range.

Here's a great deal on an Acer 1920x1080 21.5" monitor though.
