    ASUS A3000 series AH3F drive replacement

    Hi all, new here and just wondering if anyone has any info on where abouts i can get a replacement dvd-rw drive for my asus a3hf i cant find the right site anywhere or could someone in the know tell me how to find a specific model type or model number that will help me locate a replacement.

    The model number is located on the drive itself. If you are replacing it anyways, you might as well pop it out and take a look :) .

    Your best bet for a replacement drive is Ebay actually. I have got a few great deals on DVD drives there half the cost of any store I found.

    Greg is correct, the numbers will be loacted on the drive.

    However it may be hard to get an exact drive to replace it. You may have to purchase a optical drive from a different manufacturer, as many retailers usually do not sell laptop optical drives individually.
