I would like to change the RAM in an old ASUS A9Rp. Does anyone have a service manual or point me to a video on how to open the case? It doesn't seem to have the usual memory opening hatch and looks like to whole back of the case has to be removed? Hoping you can help.

Nah, under the keyboard is just shielding: http://www.clickstore.fr/230-thickbox/plasturgie-asus-a9rp.jpg
Here's the manual for the A9Rp: http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/A9Rp/e2718_a9rp_low.zip
Go to page 14 and you will see that on the bottom, there are two screws at the front side of the case and one in the middle. Remove these screws and slide the cover off towards the front.
