I'm thinking of upgrading my Asus G2S while i'm waiting my dream machine to come out some day ;)
The question is with what components can I upgade it with. I think it has MXM 2, at the moment 8600M GT card with 256 MB DDR3 ... Intel 965 PM Express chipset, don't remember what processor at the moment (maybe T7500 or T7700).
What would be the maxed specs where you can go with that machine or recommended ones (best prize/performance ratio) or do you see any sense of upgrading that at all.
What would be the best place to start searching for the components (ebay???) ... I'm from Finnland.

You'll need to wait for someone with more expertise on the GPU, but you can definitely upgrade the CPU. Furthermore, you're not just limited to the T7x00 series, you can use any 800MHz FSB Socket P processor with the 965-Chipset. That includes the newer T8100, T8300, T9300, and T9500. I would usually buy from eBay myself, but I don't know what kind of selection you've got over there in Finland...
