My Laptop has been having heat issues lately, I need to pull it apart and give it a good cleaning. I figured that while I had it opened up I would add some extra cooling to it. I tend to work it kinda hard and more cooling is always better. I plan on adding some heatsinks and fans. I found some fans for the raspberry pi that would fit. I plan on removing the cd/dvd player (since I literally never use it) and mounting the fans in its' place. The 2 fans that look like they would work best given the space are the 25x25x10mm and 20x20x7mm.
I checked around and couldn't find a wiring diagram to see if there was anyplace to hook them in, so I decided to wire them directly into the usb from the inside (my laptop has 3 usb ports). Both fans are 5v, with the 25mm being a .2a and the 20mm being .1
But before I went ahead and did this, I figured it was best to get some feedback on this idea. It sounds like a good plan in my head, but it may not be.
    What do you guys think?
