I've been wanting to upgrade the drive in my dell to something 7200RPM and with more capacity (100gig or 80) however I've noticed they have listed Ata-6 and ATA 150 I have heard ATA 150 is the latest and greatest but will it work in my laptop or should I get ATA6 and also would I be able to use these in my next laptop?

    Hello,

That HD will not work because Serial ATA-150 has different connection. So the only choice is ATA-6
