I have a Envy 15 with 2nd gen motherboard and I'd like to upgrade the graphics card to either the ATI 4870 or 5870.
Will this be OK in terms of connectors, etc., and also is it possible this would cause too much heat?
This is the 4870 I'm looking at

literally all hp laptops including the envy have soldered on GPU's so no upgrading. If u want to upgrade sell the envy and get something else.
