hey guys, my laptop is the following:

    AMD ZM-80 2.1 ghz
ATI HD 3200 (driver vers. 8.582)
    4 Gb ram
    400 GB Harddrive
    vista 64-bit
    Catalyst 9.2

The thing is i get the following from Windows Experience Index when I've seen higher with this same IGP.

Graphics (Aero) : 3.1 < I've seen this one at 3.5 on other laptops
Graphics (gaming): 3.2 < I've seen this one at 3.7 on other laptops

What gives? any opinions and advice on this?

Any ideas on why its so low or how I can improve it? the funny thing is it runs games pretty well (yes i know its not a gaming laptop)...Half life 2 maxed (800x600) avg 60fps, Gears of War (decent enough to enjoy), Call of Duty 4 (surprised me!)....so i'm a bit concerned that its so low and maybe i'm not even getting out of it what i should be able to?.....

How does the CPU get in the mix for these scores if theres a score specifically for Processor? ( I ask because i don't know much if anything about this)

My scores are (and yes i know they aren't spectacular):
    Processor: 4.9
    Ram:5.9
    Graphics (aero): 3.1
    Gaming Graphics: 3.2
    Hard Disk:5.5

It's because WEI is a terribly inconsistent and poor measure of laptop performance. If it runs the games you want to run fine, just don't worry about it. If you really want to get synthetic numbers, run a dedicated benchmark suite; PCMark, 3DMark, etc.
