    Im a total NooB with mobile GPUs. I was just woundering if the 4570 in my Asus U80V is upgradeable? I believe it is MXM, but Im not sure. PLease give me some advice....add your two cents. :) Thanks.

    AFAIK, it isn't upgradeable.

    I have the 4570 512mb in my Dell. I find it to be a very capable GPU.

    Just as well really, as it's soldered onto the motherboard, along with the graphics memory. So no upgrades :(

    I am aware that some laptops come with graphics adaptors that can be detached inside, so you should check yours, because if this is the case, an upgrade might be possible (although no doubt expensive and hard to find)...

    Might be upgradeable but with only asus MXM cards, as they have a special connector i heard.

    The 4570 is a surprisingly capable card; I have the 256MB flavor in my Studio 15, and I can play Crysis quite comfortably at my native 720p with most settings turned down.
