    I hope it can be released by the end of this year. My biggest gripe with it is that it needs a special proprietary port by AMD and so would most likely only be on AMD Puma notebooks. :(

    Unfortunately, it looks that way. It will only work on future notebooks with that port, the first laptop to launch with the port is the Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo Sa 3650, only in Europe.

    The reason it is not released is that the card itself is a X16 PCI-E card while the port is a PCI-E Port (PCI-E X1)

    I thought that applied to the Asus XG Station, not the ATI XGP? Its to use a special proprietary slot that gives much more bandwidth.
