I have understand the pros and cons of using the AC Adapter while the battery plugged in but I still have any other question:

I plan to charge the battery while I use the computer for work Then, after the indicator shows FULL CHARGED, I turned the notebook off and plug off the battery.

Is it ok for doing this?

    Thank you very much.

m8,use it however you want,it ll last you 2-4 years min, mine IBM x40 battery is 5 years old but still keeps my laptop up for 4 hours! ;)

EDIT;by "however you want" i mean you can keep it always plugged,or you can charge/discharge it ;) i m speaking of mine experience.

chrisliando, yes that is fine but seems like a lot effort for very little benefit. I do understand heat is the enemy of a batt and removing will lower heat it is exposed to. I just think it is minimal. And I do assume you know if storing for long periods 40% to 50% charge is recommended?
