    About Widescreen and Standard Size Screen??

    Recently i want to buy a notebook and questions occur in my mind that is if i using the new widescreen notebook to view those miovie which not supporting widescreen and will the movie become other shapes and not normal again??Thanks!!

    Nope, it will retain its original aspect ratio, and you will have black bars on the sides of the screen.

    I have BF2 and a widscreen display. It does sterech(sorry can't spell) the game but you get used to it really quick. I am not sure about pics though as I don't have a digital camera.

    Pictures and movies have exact dimensions in pixels. The size of the screen will not affect the display of them unless you choose to.

    i don't understand this question? are you asking if a photo viewed on widescreen is streched?

    Widescreen simply adds pixels to the viewable area. So imagine your monitor, only with more pixels on the sides. Things won't stretch, you will just have extra space.

    The widescreen is more helpful, IMO, when the screen resolution is WSXGA or WUXGA since it allows me to put up a browser window and a Microsoft office/Abdobe Acrobat window.
