This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I just purchased an ASUS N550JV-DB72T and I want to upgrade the wifi card because it is relatively cheap and doesn't seem too difficult. I have never done any laptop upgrades before and this seems like a good place to start. My question is what new wifi card should I buy and is this a difficult project. Are they all compatible with this laptop? I don't think that they get too expensive but I would like to keep it around $30. Any help is appreciated.
