    Ac adapter has slack connection

    Ok so they are cheap to buy but i thought i might use wire clippers and solder.

    would this be easy to do? I know the connection is slack because i've tested it using a multimeter.

    also what about insulation after i reconnect the wires

    You can buy new jacks from any good electronics store. You can simply solder the wires and than insulate the connections with electrical tape, so that the wiring does not touch and short.
    You need to make sure that you are wiring the jack properly. If you make a mistake, you can destroy the system.
    So before swapping adaptors, peel the insulative coating from the wires and take a picture than you can see how the wires connect to the jack itself.
    They are color coded, so as long as you buy a similar adaptor jack, you should be good to go.

    btw what happened to your voodoo, why does it no longer work
