This thing looks great. Except it's $2000. Acer is really going for the gaming space.

Once you go ultrawide, you simply can't go back. I am waiting for a 1440p IPS, 144hz 34'' ultrawide to upgrade from my x2 LG ultrawides OC'ed to 75hz.

Ahh my bad, I thought you meant "waiting on" as in its ordered, shipped, on the way. A 1440p IPS, 144hz 34'' ultrawide would be great.

My Acer XF270HU with 1440p + 144Hz is good enough and expensive enough.. No thanks Acer... $2000 is nuts!

That really is the sweet spot right now. I'm glad 4K 144hz is a thing now though. Give it 12 months and we'll probably see saner prices. Then it's up to the GPU.

I balked at $500 USD for my 34" Acer 3440x1440 75Hz screen. I'll agree though once you go ultrawide it is almost impossible to go back even for just every day use.
