    Hello Everybody!

    I read a lot about upgrading cpus in laptops build on intel 940gml and 943gml.
    I have acer aspire 3692 nwlmi build on 940gml :( so i mean that best upgrade option will be to buy intel core solo?

    Can i buy intel core solo t1300 with 667fsb [current celeron m 420 uses 533fsb]? In 940gml specification is written that it support only 533fsb.

    In one thread i read
    that's mean that i can buy T2080?
    Please help me and sorry for my ugly english.

    If its the 940GML, then the best upgrade is the T1350....You can also look into the Pentium M processors.

    (Can you post the motherboad code printed on the sticker, on the Ram Bay)

    There should be a sticker where the ram is installed, on the sockets or near it.

    The code will be like....MBAFL02001-----

    Oh, then AT that old sticker, your motherboard has a 940GML chipset.
    So, unfortunately, no dual-cores.
    If you want, you can try a cheap Core Duo or a cheap Core 2 Duo, to confirm it.

    Nope, no Pentium Ms. GML940 is Socket M; the older Pentium Ms won't even physically fit.

    Yeah, My Bad !! Won't support Socket 479s.
    So, best upgrade --> T1350.
