    Hi All, i have a acer 5021 with the turion ml28 1600, however i have found a ml34 processor to buy and wondered if i could fit it in my laptop?

    Sure, it's possible to upgrade - you just have to open up the case and swap CPU's. However, I would not recommend doing this because it voids your warranty. :confused:

    Is it just me or is it that many people now and days are gettine ACERs?...I remember just a few years ago ACER was really non-existant in the laptop/notebook community.

    Yeah they are coming on strong. Now available at CircuitCity and elsewhere. I'd upgrade the hard drive and memory. You'll get more bang there and won't void the warranty as mentioned.
