    Hi all

I recently purchased an Acer 5672. I'm really happy with the machine. More so, than with my dv4000. The only issue i had was the that the Acer gets real hot, specially at the touch pad. Then i read in one of the forums that using NHC(Notebook Harware Control), can help reduce heat but undervolting, and underclocking. I use it now and i think its a rather neat software. MY question is.. i usually leave it at dynamic switchin, but even on that setting it tends to run at 1667 Mhz continually. Even when the load on the CPU is between 0-3%. Then i set it to battery optimized (even tho the AC adapter was plugged in).. and then it clocks down to 1000Mhz. This helps a lot in reducing the heat. Is there any problem in leavin the notebook in this setting with the adapter plugged in? I'm nt very good with undervolting and stuff.. so what else can i do?

    Thanks
