I bought a broken Acer 5733z (the screen was cracked) for under $100 (I figured the 500gb hard drive by itself was worth half that). Then purchased a 1920x1080 LED screen to replace the broken 1366x768 LED screen (same pins on both screens). The problem I am running into is as soon as I power on the laptop the screen is Very bright, and then becomes nearly unreadable in Windows. I included a couple pictures of my issue.

I've been able to replace plenty of lower resolution displays before w/ the higher 1920x1080 and 1920x1200 screens in the past w/ success except in 1 other instance (a Clevo D901C where I needed a different video cable).

My question, for anyone in the know; Does the problem lie within the cable or within the new screen? And yes, I re-connected the cable to the screen a couple times, so it's not the connection.
