    Hi Guys!

I recently acquired the aforementioned laptop, and want to give it a bit of a boost; after doing (more) research, I've found a q9200 that would be perfect for my needs - my only question is will it be compatible?

My laptop came with a T6400, and it has the newer DDR3 motherboard.

    Some CPU-Z Screens here

Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated :)

EDIT: So the Q9200 wont work, and because my MB is rev.2, it won't even take the Q9000 :( Does anyone know of a compatible quad core?

If the mentioned Quads don't work, then there is no other quad to try. You can use a X9100 or a much cooler T9900. For overclock you can use Throttlestop with the X9100
